I am not too confident with filming, so I decided to get used to the camera by doing some test shots and editing them together to get a better idea of how the final product might look, along with the animatics. I filmed a series of 3 shots, enclosing the toilet part of the sequence. First lifting up the seat, pulling the lever and finally the flush.
I edited it down to about 2 and a half seconds, but to do this I had to speed up some of the sounds or clips but I also edited out most of each process so only a part of it is shown. The audience doesn't need to see the while thing. I also added some sound effects and manipulated the diagetic audio to sound better. The brightness and contrast, as well as the colour balance needed adjusting so I made some slight adjustments to make it look more dynamic.
