One of the features we need to add is a login feature where people can create an account and sign in to access content we have marked for only registered users. To add this I went to the module manager and clicked 'New'. This gives us a variety of modules, and helpfully has tool tips giving descriptions if there was any confusion but they are named appropriately, and the one I need is called simply 'Login'.
The login module has now been added to the page. You can give it a title, so I called it 'Account Login' so people would recognise it easily. It is a standard and clean form and I have aligned it to the right side of my website to keep the page ordered in an intuitive manner.
